Community Health Services FETAC Level 5 /FIRE AND AMBULANCE SERVICE COURSE:

WHO IS IT FOR?

This is a preparatory course aimed at those who wish to work in either the Fire Service or Ambulance Service. As a FETAC level 5 course, it is suitable for both school leavers and mature students who hold a leaving certificate or it’s equivalent and/or candidates who have completed any courses at FETAC 4 level previously.

 

CERTIFICATION

This course will lead to a Community Health Services FETAC Level 5 certificate.

It is envisaged that this course will improve graduates chances of recruitment to either the Fire Service or Ambulance Service and Graduates of the course will gain essential knowledge and skills in areas relevant to these careers.

DELIVERY

The programme is delivered over 5 days per week, Monday to Friday from mid September to June.
